March of 2001. malapit na ang high skul graduation day namin. Isang gabi, sinabi ko sa erpats at ermats ko na hindi ako pumasa sa UPCAT. Sinigawan ako ng bobo ng tatay ko. Nasabi ko n lng sa sarili ko "ang lakas ng loob mong sabihan ako ng bobo, eh ikaw nga grade 5 lng natapos mo.." Sobrang sama ng loob ko sa mga magulang ko nung time na yun. Hindi ba nila alam gano kahirap mag-aral, tapos sisigawan k lng ng bobo.

Nung mga panahong din na yun, ilang araw ng hindi nakakapasok ng trabaho si erpats dahil sa tuberculosis. Huminto n rin ng pag-aaral ung ate ko kac nabuntis sya ng bf nya.

Dumating ang araw ng graduation day. Hindi sumama si erpats, si mama lng ang kasama ko. Hindi ko sinabi sa kanila na may honor ako. Hindi rin naman nila expected, kac wla naman ako honors nung 1st - 3rd yr. Nung nasa skul n kmi, sabi ko sa ermats ko, "ma upo ka na dun s pwesto ng mga magulang..". then ako naman pumila na. Hindi ko pina-upo ung nanay ko sa pwesto ng mga magulang ng may mga honors. Nung aakyat n ko sa stage, napansin ng class adviser namin na wla kong kasamang magulang na aakyat, kaya sya n lng ung umakyat para mag-sabit sa kin ng medal.

After ng graduation rites, nakita ko yung nanay ko naghihintay sa may gate ng skul, nilapitan ko ung nanay ko, sabay sabi ng "Ma, uwi k na, makiki-kain lang ako sa handa ng valedictorian namin, total wla naman taung handa." Tapos umuwi n ung nanay ko.

Mga 11pm n ko umuwi, nagpunta pa kac ko sa mga kaibigan kong nag-graduate din ng high skul. Sinigurado ko rin na pag-uwi ko, tulog na sila. Pag-uwi ko ng bahay nakita ko may isang bilao ng pansit at tunaw na ice cream (wla kasi kaming ref nung time na yun). D ko pinansin ung pag-kain, sobrang busog n kasi ko nun..

Kinabukasan sinabi ng tatay ko na nangutang pala ung nanay ko para may pambili ng handa, tapos napanis lng..

A few weeks after ng graduation day, nalaman ko na pumasa pala ko sa PLM. Then nung nag-enrol n ko sa PLM, nakita ko ung schoolmate ko nung high skul. Nsabi nya s kin na iyak daw ng iyak ung nanay ko habang uma-akyat ako ng stage at sinasabitan ng medal..

Naalala ko pa dati nung college, madalas kami pumunta ng tropa ko sa mga free rock concert, tapos nakikipag-body slam kami, kaya after ng concert sakit ng mga katawan namin.
Ngaun, mga praise and worship songs na gusto ko (hillsong, planetshakers, lakewood, chris tomlin). Kapag nag-concert ulet ang hillsong d2 sa pinas, manonood ako
