hi, were here in Ras Laffan, State of Qatar, not too much of good life here but still we managed to live our lives here as if it was the normal life, konti tyaga lang, but the best part is we learn to survive even without the lime lights of the city. we go doha every once a month hehehe, pero pagdating dun 3 - 4 hours lang minsan ang stay namin. We ride at the company service that took us to doha but we have to follow the schedule of going back to camp. So most of our adventures in doha is limited and we really need to do first the things we need than go somewhere and unwind or rest.

When it comes for male worker like me, there are news before that really shocked me because most of them are put into prison. But that was years ago. these year some Filipinos are caught due to some illegal acts. but it is safe now here if you just follow most of their rule and be quiet. It depends on what status you have here. for workers like me, it is safe for me to be quiet.

Workplace depends on the company. Most are isolated most are in town. If you have a good contract that's better!

Yes, just follow d rules, respect their culture and religion and it is just fine here. Be cautious also especially now that it is ramadan.

Based on what I know firsthand, my colleague who has a bank loan several years ago and never pay even once was jailed. The bank will not look after the borrower, since his visa will be transferred to another sponsor, his paper was ceased in the immigration, our PRO was informed that my colleague has to go with him in the immigration, he was put to jail on that same day till now.
